About ClearNord
Specialist in AI-assisted multilingual communication
ClearNord
ClearNord is a Norwegian consultancy and language operations company.
We help public and regulated entities control how AI and language tools are used in specific workflows for translation, document work, and multilingual communication.
The work is about clear rules for data, tool usage, human quality assurance, approval, and documentation.

This is ClearNord's area of expertise
Control over one specific workflow at a time
ClearNord does not work with broad AI governance across the entire business.
Our specialty is work processes where AI and language tools are used to understand, process, translate, quality assure, or publish multilingual content.
In such work processes, the business must be able to answer specific questions:
- What tools are used?
- What content and what information are processed?
- Which treatment pathways are approved?
- When is human quality assurance required?
- Who checks and approves the result?
- How are the assessments and the delivery documented?
- Does the need concern translation, multilingual guidance, or an interpreter?
ClearNord helps the business turn these questions into practical rules, workflows, and documented decisions.
What we do
From opaque use to controllable practice
The most common first assignment is an AI and language exposure analysis.
We are mapping how ChatGPT, Copilot, machine translation, and other language tools affect one or more defined workflows.
The company gets, among other things:
- Overview of relevant tools, document types, languages, and data flows
- Risk register with recommended measures
- Rules for approved, restricted, and prohibited use
- Requirements for human quality assurance and approval
- Recommended division of roles and responsibilities
- Prioritized 30/60/90-Day Action Plan
- Documentation for further internal processing and implementation
The analysis can normally be carried out without ClearNord receiving citizen data or other sensitive production data.
We also offer defined assignments within:
- Controlled workflows for multilingual content
- Practical routines and documentation related to the use of interpreters
- Quality-assured translation and language work
- Ongoing language drift for recurring needs
- Specialist support for consulting and supplier partners
Our leadership
The experience behind ClearNord
ClearNord combines experience from public language operations, AI-supported workflows, linguistic quality assurance, and Norwegian public services.
We provide practical advice and language services today, while Språkverk is developed from documented needs in real work processes.

Adam Taha
Adam established and led the Enterprise Translations Office for the State of Minnesota, a centralized public translation function that served more than 25 state agencies and made its services available to over 50,000 public employees.
He developed human-driven, AI-supported work processes for intake, prioritization, translation, terminology control, quality assurance, approval, and documented delivery.
The operating model reduced delivery time from weeks to days or hours. The work was featured in an OpenAI case study and later mentioned as a public use case at the launch of ChatGPT Gov.
Before working at the Enterprise Translations Office, Adam had more than 18 years of experience from the U.S. government in roles related to multilingual operations, risk management, and regulated public programs.
He has an MBA and master's degrees from Penn State University.

Elias Gobdoon
Elias brings experience from the front line of the public sector and deep multicultural insight to ClearNord's mission to build reliable, multilingual AI systems.
With a background in child welfare, milieu therapy, and complex cross-cultural support work, he has firsthand experience of how language barriers, unclear communication, and systemic complexity impact people's lives.
At ClearNord, Elias works across strategy, quality assurance, and service development, where he helps design AI-driven solutions that improve accessibility, clarity, and trust in multilingual environments. His work is rooted in a strong belief that language technology should not only be intelligent, but also understandable, responsible, and human-centric.
From Minnesota to Norway
ClearNord is built on a simple lesson from public language management:
Better multilingual communication does not come from technology alone.
It requires an operating model that governs how people, tools, data, terminology, quality, and approval interact.
In Enterprise Translations Office, the translation work was organized around:
- A clear reception
- Prioritization and routing
- Controlled use of AI support
- Terminology and Glossary Control
- Human quality assurance
- Named responsibility for approval
- Documented delivery
The results did not come from one specific AI model. They came from a controlled work process where language experts retained responsibility for meaning, context, terminology, and final delivery.
ClearNord applies the same operating principles in Norway, adapted to each company's work processes, language needs, data processing, and distribution of responsibilities.

HOW WE WORK
The workflow before technology
We start with the concrete work process, not with pitching a specific AI tool.
Before a solution is recommended, it must be clear what problem is to be solved, what content is being processed, who is responsible, and how quality is to be controlled.
Human responsibility
Technology can support language and communication work, but humans retain responsibility for judgment, quality, context, and sensitive decisions. ClearNord places human control and professional approval at the center.
Linguistic accessibility
Public information must be understandable to those who need it. Multilingual communication should be planned, quality-assured, and managed with the same seriousness as other critical communication processes.
Privacy and Trust
AI, translation, and communication workflows must protect personal data and sensitive information. Trust requires clear processing routes, evaluated tools, documented choices, and human accountability.
Practical innovation
We focus on improvements that can be tested, measured, and controlled. The goal is not to over-engineer the technology before the work processes are clear, but to make the actual operations safer, clearer, and more responsible.
OUR GOAL
Safe, Controlled, and Traceable Use of AI in Multilingual Workflows
The goal is for the enterprise to retain control over data, quality, responsibility, approval, and documentation from the time content is received until it is delivered or published. This control must be maintained regardless of which tool or supplier is used.
