AI compliance, governance, and secure communication
ClearNord helps public, regulated, and public-facing organizations plan, manage, and document the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).
We assist with AI compliance, governance models, implementation plans, risk assessments, and practical workflows for document-intensive and communication-intensive organizations.

The Challenge
Three areas that must be under control
Artificial intelligence is changing how organizations write, evaluate, translate, summarize, and publish information.
Many employees are adopting new tools quickly, often before the company has clear guidelines, risk assessments, or documented work processes.
ClearNord helps organizations gain control in three key areas:
responsible AI use, sensitive information, and secure communication.

Responsible AI Use
Many businesses want to use AI but lack clear answers about what is allowed, what is risky, and what requires human review.
ClearNord helps businesses map AI usage, assess risks, define approved and restricted use cases, and establish practical guidelines for responsible implementation.

Secure Communication and Language Access
For public, regulated, and public-facing organizations, information must be correct, understandable, accessible, and tailored to the target audience.
ClearNord helps businesses with linguistic compliance, terminology control, multilingual workflows, human quality assurance, and documented processes for secure communication.

Protection of sensitive information
Employees are increasingly using tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Google Translate, and DeepL to translate, summarize, and rephrase text.
Without clear operating rules, personal data, sensitive documents, and business-critical information can be processed in systems that are not approved, documented, or risk-assessed.
ClearNord helps organizations with safer workflows for document management, data management, human oversight, and compliant documentation.
Services
Practical assistance for AI compliance, governance, and secure communication
ClearNord helps organizations move from informal AI use and fragmented document processes to structured, controlled, and compliant workflows.
Start with a maturity analysis, an implementation plan, a pilot project, or practical support for language, translation, and public communication.
AI Compliance and Governance Maturity
We are reviewing how the business uses or plans to use AI, where the risks lie, and which control mechanisms are missing.
Target audience
Businesses that use or are considering ChatGPT, Copilot, language tools, summarization tools, case support, or other AI systems.
Typical Deliverables
Mapping of AI usage, risk assessment, governance gaps, recommended control measures, data management rules, human oversight model, and documentation for management, privacy, procurement, or compliance.

Responsible AI Implementation
We help businesses plan how AI can be implemented in real work processes without creating unnecessary legal, operational, or data risks.
Target audience
Businesses that want to adopt AI but need structure before rolling out tools broadly.
Typical Deliverables
Applications, limitations, workflow design, role and responsibility distribution, vendor criteria, training needs, risk register, and implementation plan.

Linguistic compliance and multilingual communication
We review websites, forms, guides, documents, and publishing routines to identify deficiencies in linguistic accessibility, the use of Bokmål and Nynorsk, terminology control, and multilingual communication.
Target audience
Public and publicly oriented companies that need better control over language, quality, accessibility, and documentation.
Typical Deliverables
Content mapping, linguistic risk assessment, assessment of the use of Bokmål and Nynorsk, terminology review, recommended workflows, and prioritized action plan.

Implementation Support and Quality Assured Translation
When AI management becomes practical work, it often involves documents, communication, translation, quality assurance, and workflow.
ClearNord can assist with quality-assured translation, terminology management, multilingual quality assurance, and documented processes.
Target audience
Businesses that require reliable translation or multilingual support as part of a broader effort in AI governance, compliance, or public communication.
Language
Norwegian Bokmål, Norwegian Nynorsk, English, Arabic, and Somali, with additional languages through quality-assured partners.

Our story
Built on real experience from the public sector
Before ClearNord's establishment, Adam Taha established and led the Enterprise Translations Office for the State of Minnesota—a centralized public translation program that served over 25 state agencies and 50,000 public employees.
The office utilized human-led, AI-assisted workflows to improve translation speed, quality, consistency, and cost control in public communications. The operating model saved and generated an estimated $3.8 million in value within its first two years. The model was highlighted by OpenAI in a case study and later cited as a public sector use case in the ChatGPT Gov launch.
ClearNord brings the same operational discipline to Norway – adapted to Norwegian language requirements, public communication, data privacy, human quality assurance, and AI governance that meets all audit and documentation requirements.
Real operational effect
What used to take weeks can now be delivered in under 48 hours. Rush translations? Two hours.
million USD
Generated values during the first two years

More than 25 public agencies. Over 50,000 public employees. What previously took weeks could often be completed in days or hours – while human experts retained full control.
Our Principles
The principles that guide our work
Artificial intelligence is influencing how organizations write, review, translate, summarize, and publish information. For document-heavy and audience-focused businesses, this is not just about efficiency. It's about responsibility, quality, privacy, compliance, and trust.
ClearNord is built on four principles that guide how we advise on AI, design workflows, support communication, and help businesses document responsible practices.
Responsible AI
AI can provide better speed, capacity, and consistency, but only when its use is managed.
We help businesses define what AI can be used for, what requires human judgment, what should be limited, and how decisions and risks should be documented.
Human responsibility
Technology can support the work, but humans must still be responsible for assessments, quality, context, and sensitive decisions.
ClearNord designs processes where people retain control over content, approval, language, data usage, and communication that may affect rights, security, trust, or service access.
Privacy and Trust
AI and communication work can involve personal data, sensitive documents, and business-critical information.
We help businesses establish safer workflows, approved tool usage, clear data management, and documentation showing how information is processed.
Language and Accessibility
Public and audience-facing communication must be understandable to those who need it.
ClearNord helps businesses with language, terminology, multilingual communication, human quality assurance, and workflows that make information clearer, more accessible, and easier to trust.
