    We use analytics to improve the website, not for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-site tracking.<\/p>

    Matomo Cloud stores data in Europe, and Matomo lists Frankfurt in Germany as the storage location for cloud data, and Dublin in Ireland for backups.<\/p>

    7. Legal basis<\/h3>

    The use of cookies and similar technologies is regulated by Section 3-15 of the Electronic Communications Act and the consent requirements in GDPR.<\/p>

    For strictly necessary cookies, we rely on the exception for storage or access that is technically necessary to deliver the service expressly requested by the user.<\/p>

    For any non-essential cookies or similar technologies that require consent, we base the processing on your consent.<\/p>

    For the processing of personal data related to website operation and security, our legal basis under GDPR may include legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.<\/p>

    For Matomo Cloud analytics in cookieless mode with IP anonymization enabled, we use aggregated website usage data to understand basic traffic patterns and improve clearnord.no. We do not use analytics data for advertising, behavior profiling, or cross-site tracking.<\/p>

    ClearNord's website hosting is provided by Hostinger on a server located in Germany. Complianz consent documentation is stored locally on our website. Matomo Cloud stores analytics data in Europe. Cal.eu is used as an external link for meeting booking, and Microsoft Teams is used for meetings.<\/p>

    Some suppliers may be part of international groups, or involve support or technical access from locations outside the EEA. If personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or other legal mechanisms.<\/p>
